    Testimonials

“This race needs to be shared with everyone. The farmer’s market afterwards is the best post race food supply I’ve ever seen. I got a delicious Saskatoon pie.”

“The race was fabulous, thank you so much! You had enough signage, cheerful volunteers, varied countryside, and an awesome place to finish!! The medals are so cool . . . .  I feel extremely lucky.” – Nadyia Fry, second place 2013 woman at Millarville and 2013 winner of the Calgary Marathon.

“Can I just say again what a great race you put on. It really is fun.” – Duncan Marsden, 2012 and 2017 Millarville overall winner.

“Just wanted to congratulate you on an awesome race.  The pickup at Eau Claire went really smoothly, the bags were well organized and the volunteers were great. The shuttle buses to the start were great too ….and the location of the start was good, tho it might be a bit small when your race grows as we know it will. The course was MAGNIFICENT and the km markers were nice and accurately placed. The water stations were also well placed and the volunteers were great. The finish was awesome…the medals neat. What more can I say…all in all a great event and well run and I will defiinitely be running it again next year and bringing extra running buddies with me! Great job.”

“I would like to thank and congratulate the Organizing Committee for the excellent half marathon event.  I have run many half marathons in Alberta, through Canada and in the Unitied States and would categorize this half marathon as one of the best. The volunteers were so helpful and friendly, the route was well-marked and so scenic, the presence of the first aid personnel was very reassuring, the t-shirts are very colorful, finishers medals are unique and food after the run was plentiful.“

“The Millarville Half Marathon has the best volunteers ever! The genuine excitement and energy from each and every one is uncomparable. This has to be my favorite half marathon. The breathtaking scenery is the icing on the cake. You’ll see me again next year!!!!”

“The volunteers were definitely enthusiastic and offered encouragement wherever possible! I’d like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart because without the volunteers I wouldn’t have been able to run my first half… So thank you for making my crazy dream a reality by giving your time!! And encouragement!”

“Great event! The volunteers were amazing! The best energy and support I’ve seen. Outstanding!”

“Fabulous race yesterday! Good job, abundance of wonderful happy volunteers and great support! Lots of water stations too… Beautiful scenery and very well organized (buses, etc…) So nice to go back to the market ! I had not been in a couple of years. Love the clay medal too.”

“Many thanks to the organizors and volunteers. The course is terrific and the event was very well run.  I’ll definitely come back next year. After 40 plus years in Calgary, that was my first time to Millarville.”

“Congratulations on a wonderful race! I thought everything was very well organized and ran very smoothly. The volunteers did a wonderful job of directing/encouraging and made it a fun race to run. I also thought it was great that everybody’s name was announced as they crossed the finish line. That doesn’t happen at every race, so it was nice to see.”
